One fine day when the family decided to visit Trinoma mall and headed to NYFD for a small pack of fried potato. We were actually going to watch the movie Dragonball Evolution and my wife and son suddenly felt like eating french fries. Anyway, so back to the story, I was about to pay for the 3 packs of fried potato to the NYFD cashier and when the counter opened the drawer where they store their special dips in small plastic containers, my keen eyes suddenly saw a small cockroach creeping fast at the side of the chest, looking for another dark corner to hide. Yikes! I told to my self. What was that? Was it really a cockroach? It was really disgusting knowing the quality of name and establishments at Trinoma.
When would people learn to safeguard the food they sell to the public especially in high class of sort malls like Trinoma? So guys, next time you decide to buy your refreshments, think twice about going to NYFD. But it's your choice really or you can just confront the people manning the store and tell them about this story. This is in no way a post that is intended to propagate bad things about NYFD but heck, who would want to eat food with living cockroaches on the same container or storage?
Here is a photo I took during the incident. I took garlic parmesan and cheese dips but due to what had happened, we decided not to engage with it. Better be safe than sorry later.
